The details that help the team understand your door before a visit.
Describe the movement
Does the panel resist the first push, catch in one place or feel rough throughout its travel? Mention whether the issue changes when you use the handle. Do not force a stuck or unstable panel.
Identify the opening
From a safe position, photograph the whole opening and any visible product label. Note the number of sliding panels and whether glass is damaged. A photograph can support the conversation, but cannot establish all repair requirements.
Plan property access
Have the city, address and unit number ready. Discuss parking, community entry and who can approve work. Confirm the proposed scope, price and appointment directly with the team.
A photo of the full opening shows the panel arrangement. A safe close-up can show the affected handle or rough section of track. Include a readable product label if it is accessible without removing parts. Our repair photo guide explains what each view adds.
